My Wordpress upgrade has left Tiger administrator backend dead

Well surprise surprise when I upgraded my Word Press install to 2.5.1 I didn’t bother checking if my admin console would work on the back end. (I upgraded it as I wasn’t happy with the version before 2.5.)
This left me stuck … able to log in but not seeing a hell of a lot of [...]
