But today I said what the hell. The last little while I’ve been working with a number of Children’s Festivals and groups in Ireland with the aim of launching Children’s Festivals in Ireland. I’ve decided to go live with it this morning as I’m away on monday in Granada sun .. no sea no sand … no … :D

The site is making heavy use of JQuery … and there are a few issues still with IE6 (down with IE6 grumbles … launching another site about that shortly)

At the moment there are just the two of us looking but if you’ve any interest in getting on board feel free to let us know.

As he said over on the coworking blog post the ballprice figures are €250 – €350 per person. There may also be hot desks depending on what we end up doing.

I may also add to this list if anyone has any other good suggestions ? :)

Most of these are really common sense but … far be it from me to have common sense :)

Health

  • Cook more meals
  • Eat less junk food (Pizza is not a food group)
  • Stop drinking so much (no more having a beer or two in the evening occasional outbursts of madness are allowed)
  • Get healthy
  • No Energy drinks (coke doesn’t count so much but its on the list allowed with cinema)
  • Get my 5 a day ( coffee / coke / red bull / kick / pizza / ham and bread sandwiches don’t count)
  • Get to bed at sane hours

Work

  • Create forbairt.ie
  • Start a large project with code igniter (Task Drop)
  • Spend less time working
  • Normal working hours
  • Take Lunch breaks
  • 1 Day off completely a week
  • Less *****y projects
  • Don’t do favours for friends so much
  • More social networking
  • Fixed working hours
  • Alot some time for training
  • Attempt more public speaking

Personal Improvement

  • Improve French (Watch EuroNews / Attend meetups for speaking french)
  • Do more German

Personal

  • Get to cinema more (I’m paying for it I may as well use it)
  • Get playing petanque again :)
  • Work on a few personal projects
  • Finally move away from dreamhost completely
  • Less time spent on forums
  • Get rid of the excess of PC hardware / machines I’ve got
  • Make time to meet up with friends properly
  • Make it to vienna once
  • More time for the keyboard (learn 3 nice songs)
  • No purchased haircuts this year … its what the hedge trimmers I bought is for
  • Waste less food (if something is in the fridge it has to be used)
  • Eat out more (BK doesn’t count *sniff sniff*)

Anyways I’ll see how I get on its a pretty long list (at least I think it is)

As you may have seen on my other blog posts, its been interesting. I’m not sure how much I’ve exactly learned. Its quite a short time frame and with that much competition over a short time period its difficult to really say how you are doing.
