I can see why its needed, but I'm also afriad that they might start on the smaller offenders becuase they'll be the easiest to scare and also it would get bigger media attention if some granny in Limerick is fined for watching some tv program on youtube.... Its probably a better idea than taking some teenager to court and suing for thousands that his/her family cant even afford. I don't like the fact of an ISP sharing data though, thats when privacy of all users can go out the window. I don’t like the fact of an ISP sharing data though, thats when privacy of all users can go out the window. Lets hope that ISP’s stay the same, not having a clue about their current setups. ;-)

Laws in Ireland / UK are very similar and with BT being a pretty big player in the UK market I'd assume this would have some sort of impact on the irish users as well ?
